Job Title: Campus Security Officer, EMT

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Campus Security/EMS Mgr. and Campus Safety Supervisor
FLSA Status: Nonexempt
Position Overview: The Campus Security Officer/EMT is responsible for the safety and security of the residents, visitors, employees, and facilities. May require State licensing/certification.

Ability to implement plans formulated by Campus Safety/Emergency Services Manager. Able to operate an ambulance. Ability to write written reports in a clear, concise manner with good grammar and spelling. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Ability to work with computer systems.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED. One to three years customer service experience. Become a state-certified first responder within one year of starting date.
License, Certificates, Registration: Must be able to attend, be tested on, and maintain certifications including, but not limited to: Medical First Responder and CPR within the first year of employment. These certifications must be maintained as a condition of employment and may require State Licensing/Certification. Requires current and valid state driver’s license.
